For me, afternoon tea is more than a tradition. It’s an art form.

As a lifelong artist, I’ve always found joy in creating, whether through collage, painting, experimenting with color and texture, or transforming everyday objects into something beautiful and unexpected. My artistic imagination has always influenced how I see the world, and eventually, it found another canvas: the culinary arts.

My journey as a culinary entrepreneur began with a desire to create something of my own. After sharing my homemade pastries and savory specialties with coworkers and friends at social gatherings, their enthusiastic encouragement inspired me to launch Terri’s Table around 2018. My chopped liver, in particular, developed quite a following!

But my vision was always bigger than food alone. I dreamed of creating a business where my artistic expression and love of baking could come together.

In 2023, that vision became A Resplendent Tea Experience, affectionately known as A.R.T.E. The acronym is no coincidence. Art is at the heart of everything I create.

My original collages are an integral part of the experience. Each afternoon tea features a uniquely designed menu incorporating a different piece of my artwork, and my art also appears in my invitations. These personal touches allow me to carry my creative vision beyond the kitchen and into every aspect of the celebration.

From handcrafted pastries and savory delicacies to carefully selected teas, vintage china, beautiful linens, and unexpected touches of color and whimsy, every detail is thoughtfully composed.

My style blends timeless elegance with playful creativity, bringing together treasured pieces from the past and contemporary artistic expression.

Whether celebrating a milestone or simply gathering with friends, my hope is that every guest feels welcomed, delighted, and surrounded by beauty.
