Who we are and how to reach us

What we collect and why

• Quote request form: your name, email, phone, event date, guest count, event location, and, if you choose to give them, your budget, event type, and notes. We use these only to answer your request and plan your event.
• Reviews: your name and the review text you type. A review is held for Terri's approval, and only approved reviews appear on our Reviews page, with the name you entered.
• Visit statistics: we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they open. It loads on every page after the page opens and may set cookies in your browser.
• Event tickets: tickets for our events are sold through a Stripe payment page, which collects your email, your payment details, and an optional "Dietary Restrictions or Allergies" note. Stripe processes the payment, and our website never sees your card details. We receive from Stripe your email, the name on the payment, the ticket and amount, and any dietary restrictions or allergies you choose to enter. That dietary note is used only to prepare your event, and you may leave it blank.
• Technical information: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives each request to our website (for example your IP address and the page you asked for) in order to deliver the pages and keep the website secure.

Who receives it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. Visit statistics are shared with Google through Google Analytics; how Google uses that data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

• Resend, an email delivery service, sends your quote request to our business inbox (a Gmail account at the address above). Your email address is set as the reply address so we can answer you.
• Supabase, a database service, stores submitted reviews.
• Google, through Google Analytics, receives visit statistics.
• Stripe receives your payment details and ticket purchase when you buy an event ticket.
• Cloudflare hosts our website.
• Our website developer, Northvalley Intelligence, maintains the website and these services on our behalf and may see this information while doing so.
• If you use the email link next to the quote form instead, your own email program sends the message to us directly.

How long we keep it

• Quote requests arrive as an email to our business inbox and are kept there until we delete them; the website itself does not store them.
• Reviews are kept in our review database until we delete them; pending or hidden reviews are never shown publicly.
• Google Analytics keeps visit data for up to 14 months; Google's own handling of it is described in Google's privacy policy.
• Stripe keeps payment records under its own privacy policy; our copy stays in our Stripe account until we delete it.
• Cloudflare keeps request logs for a short period under its own privacy policy.
• The website is served over HTTPS, and access to the review database and business inbox is password-protected.

AI assistants

Our website offers a connection that lets AI assistants, such as ChatGPT or Claude, look up our public business information: our services, the areas we serve, our contact details, and our events, upcoming and past. It returns only information already public on our website. Our website does not store anything about you or your conversation; the request reaches our hosting provider like any other page request (see "Technical information"), and your conversation itself is handled by the AI assistant you use, under its own privacy policy.

Our own login

Terri signs in to a private area to approve reviews and add gallery photos. That sign-in sets a login cookie for Terri only; visitors do not receive it.

Your choices: access and deletion

To see what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted (including a review you submitted), email aresplendenttea@gmail.com from the address you used, or call 404-452-2590. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on for Google Analytics.

Children

Our website is for adults planning events. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its effective date.
